Library Closure

To support the health, wellness, and safety of all and minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Hudson Public Library is closed to the public beginning Monday, January 4th, 2021. As the situation develops, and information changes, it is the goal of the HPL Staff to provide you with account support and digital resources to help our community in this difficult time.


Curbside Pickup & Door-to-Door Service

All library requests and holds will be checked out and picked up at the front doors of the Library. For more information, visit our Curbside Pickup page.

The Hudson Public Library is now offering a limited Door-to-Door drop-off service for eligible Hudson residents. For more information, visit our Door-to-Door page.


The Hudson Public Library Book Drop

Our outside book drop opens on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9 AM – Close*.
(* Or until it reaches full capacity)
All DVDs, CDs, and CD Books can go in the book drop at this time.
Playaway Launchpad Tablets and Museum Passes must be returned by calling ahead.
Items will remain in quarantine for at least 48 hours before being checked in.
All Due Dates and Late Fines will be waived at check-in.


Donations to the Library

The Friends of the Hudson Public Library and the Hudson Public Library are grateful, yet unable to accept book donations at this time. Please check back soon!
